Hiccup Meets Naruto in Special Illustration for How to Train Your Dragon Movie

On September 5, the live-action film How to Train Your Dragon will premiere in Japanese cinemas. Just ahead of the release, a special promotional illustration was revealed by Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of the world-famous manga Naruto. In this artwork, Kishimoto imagines a meeting between Hiccup, the main hero of How to Train Your Dragon, and Naruto himself — a crossover moment for fans of both stories.

This new release is a live-action remake of the beloved 2010 animated classic. The remake opened in theaters on June 13 and became available across major digital platforms on July 15.

Globally, the film has already grossed an impressive $628.8 million at the box office, making it the fifth highest-earning movie of 2025 so far.
