Anime Deskmats Deserve Better
---------------------------------------------------
We are a small Florida-based team with a love for anime, gaming, and clean desk spaces that actually say something. Our focus is simple: sharp artwork, solid materials, and anime-inspired desk mats that feel like they belong in a setup worth showing off.
We started AniChan because buying an anime desk mat should not feel like marketplace roulette. Too many pads look rushed, feel cheap, or come from sellers with no real standards or passion behind the product. We wanted to build the opposite - a brand that takes anime and gaming culture seriously, makes desk mats with care, and gives people something they are proud to put at the center of their desk.
Over time, we refined every part of our production process, following the Japanese philosophy of Kaizen - continuous, incremental improvement. We made our first desk mats for ourselves and our friends, testing different materials, print settings, temperatures, and pressing techniques until every detail felt right. That constant refinement is what gives our desk mats the crisp artwork, rich colors, and premium feel we're proud to put our name on today.
DESKMATS
WITH
ACTUAL STANDARDS
Soft where it counts.
A Surface That Feels Expensive
The top has that soft, velvety feel you notice right away. Not fuzzy. Not scratchy. Not that thin “free promo mousepad” cloth. It feels dense and silky smooth under your hand, which is what gives the pad that more expensive feel.
The dense microfiber surface holds fine detail exceptionally well, producing sharper lines, richer colors, and cleaner artwork than the rougher weave surfaces commonly used on generic cloth mousepads.
Not too fast. Not too muddy.
Balanced Glide
The glide sits in the sweet spot most gamers actually want. Smooth enough for quick flicks, steady enough for controlled aim, and comfortable enough to use all day. It is not trying to be some extreme speed pad or muddy control pad. It is built to feel clean, balanced, and easy to trust from the first swipe.
The edge should not be annoying.
Low-Profile Nylon Stitching
Bad stitching ruins a good pad. If it is too bulky, your wrist feels it. If it is too loose, the edge starts fraying. If it is too tight, the pad can start curling after washes.
Our nylon stitching is low-profile, tight, and clean without choking the edge of the mat. It is there to protect the pad, keep the edges from falling apart, and help it stay flat instead of turning into a curled-up mess.
3mm is the sweet spot.
The Practical Thickness
3mm gives the mat enough cushion to feel comfortable without making your mouse sink into the surface. It feels stable, flat, and easy to use every day.
Too thin feels cheap and harsh on the desk. Too thick feels bulky, creases easier, and develops that squishy feel under pressure. 3mm keeps it practical: not too thin, not too thick, just right.
WE
ACTUALLY
MAKE THESE
THINGS
Printed In-House
Every design starts here. We print our transfers on professional Epson equipment with genuine inks, so the artwork comes out sharp, clean, and ready for the press. We control the print before it ever touches the mat.
Pressed In The USA
This is where the blank mat becomes the final deskmat. We line it up, press it with heat and pressure, then peel the transfer while it is still fresh off the press. That reveal is the real thing, made by us, not dropped into a box by some mystery factory.
Checked Before It Ships
Every mat gets looked over before it leaves our hands. We check the print, surface, edges, alignment, and overall finish so the deskmat that shows up at your door matches the standard we actually want our name on.
