The hit sci-fi manga Ultraman is officially taking a long break, with its story set to return in the spring of 2026. According to Anime News Network, the series will come back with its highly anticipated final story arc.

The pause comes right after the release of Chapter 149, leaving fans on edge about what’s next for the armored hero. While it may feel like a long wait, the announcement confirms that readers can look forward to the grand conclusion of a saga that has spanned more than a decade.

First published in 2011, Ultraman has been collected into over 20 volumes and has built a passionate global fan base. The manga expands upon the legendary tokusatsu hero who first appeared on Japanese television in the 1960s, reimagining what happens after the original Ultraman passes his power to a new generation.
