'One Punch Man' Teaser Reveals Premiere Date for Season 3

The highly anticipated third season of the anime adaptation of the manga One Punch Man finally has an official release date. The new season will premiere on October 5, marking a decade since the anime first hit the screens.

The announcement came through a short teaser video, which also featured a glimpse of the opening theme song for the upcoming season titled Get No Satisfied!. The track is performed by an exciting collaboration between the legendary rock group JAM Project and the internationally renowned band BABYMETAL, setting a powerful tone for the return of the series.

The ending theme this season will be performed by Makoto Furukawa, the voice actor behind Saitama himself. Furukawa also sang the ending theme for season two, making this a nostalgic return for longtime fans of the show.

One Punch Man first aired in 2015 and quickly became one of the most popular new anime franchises worldwide thanks to its mix of over-the-top action, humor, and sharp commentary on superhero tropes. The second season followed in 2019. Both the first and second seasons ran for 12 episodes and even inspired a wide range of fan merchandise, from figures to anime mouse pads that bring favorite characters to your desk.
