"Witch Watch" Manga, Now an Anime, Boosts Its Print Run

The manga series Witch Watch has released a new volume and updated its circulation during the broadcast of its anime adaptation. On July 4th, the 22nd volume of the manga was released, and it was concurrently announced that the total circulation of the series has surpassed 4 million copies.

Witch Watch has been published in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since February 2021. The series is created by Kenta Shinohara, known for his works "Sket Dance" and "Astra Lost in Space".

The story revolves around a young man named Morihito, who possesses the power of an Oni demon. He is forced to become the familiar and bodyguard of his childhood friend Nico, who, after training to become a witch, returns to their hometown. Nico's magic often leads to unpredictable problems...

The anime adaptation of the manga series premiered in April. Its 15th episode is set to air on July 13th.

It was recently announced that new chapters of the manga series "Black Clover" by Yuki Tabata will be released in August. This series has also been published in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
