The manga Sentai Daishikkaku (known in English as Go! Go! Loser Ranger!) is heading toward its grand finale. After a short publication break, the series will return to the pages of Weekly Shonen Magazine, where its final story arc will begin. The manga will be on hiatus for three issues before resuming on March 18. The new chapter released that day will officially kick off the concluding arc of this long-running story.
The series is written and illustrated by Negi Haruba, best known as the creator of the hit manga The Quintessential Quintuplets. Sentai Daishikkaku has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine by Kodansha since February 3, 2021, and currently spans 21 collected volumes. Over the years, Haruba’s fresh take on the superhero genre has earned the manga a dedicated following thanks to its mix of parody, action, and social commentary.
The anime adaptation, produced by Yostar Pictures, brought the story to a global audience with two seasons of thrilling battles and colorful visuals. The first season premiered in 2024, followed by a second in 2025, each consisting of 12 episodes. The adaptation’s strong animation and character-driven storytelling helped make Go! Go! Loser Ranger! one of the most talked-about new anime of the mid-2020s.
Thirteen years ago, a massive floating fortress appeared in the skies above Earth, unleashing monsters every week in an attempt to conquer humanity. Each time, the world’s saviors - the Dragon Keepers - stepped in to protect the planet from destruction. To the public, they were celebrated as flawless heroes.
But what if the truth is much darker? What if the villains were defeated long ago, and the weekly battles are nothing more than a staged performance meant to preserve the heroes’ image? And what if one of the “monsters,” tired of the endless charade, decides it’s finally time to fight back and expose the lie?
As Sentai Daishikkaku enters its final act, readers can expect shocking revelations, high-stakes battles, and a powerful exploration of heroism, control, and rebellion. With Negi Haruba at the helm, the conclusion promises to be as bold and inventive as the series itself.
