"World Trigger" Manga Goes on Hiatus

The publication of the manga "World Trigger" has been interrupted due to health issues experienced by its author, Daisuke Ashihara. The next chapter of the series won't appear in the Jump SQ issue that will hit the shelves on August 4th. Instead, the new chapter will be released in the magazine's issue, scheduled for publication on September 4th. This was reported by the Anime News Network.

"World Trigger" had been serialized in the weekly Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 2013 to 2018. In December 2018, the series began to be issued in the monthly Jump SQ. Up to this point, the manga has been compiled into 28 volumes.

Toei Animation has released three anime seasons based on "World Trigger".

In the story of "World Trigger", one far from beautiful day, gates to another dimension open, unleashing giant invincible creatures threatening to wipe out humanity. Our last hope is not Eren Yeager, but a mysterious group of warriors, utilizing alien technology to fight back against the invaders. It was also recently announced that the final battle in the "Sakamoto Days" manga will commence in August.
