New Poster Unveiled for 'JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run'

A new poster for the second part of the anime JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run (STEEL BALL RUN JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken) has been released on the official JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure website. The continuation of the series is scheduled to premiere on Netflix this fall. Unlike in the past, Netflix won’t release the entire season at once. Instead, episodes will come out weekly, giving fans something to look forward to each time a new chapter drops.

The anime is produced by David Production, the studio already known for bringing earlier JoJo parts to life. So far, only the first 47-minute episode has aired, premiering on March 19. Viewers have praised its impressive visuals and the way it stays true to the manga’s unique art style.

The story comes from the mind of legendary creator Hirohiko Araki. Originally serialized from 2004 to 2011, Steel Ball Run offers a fresh take on the JoJo universe, transporting the action to 1890s America. It follows two racers, Gyro Zeppeli and Johnny Joestar, as they compete in a cross-country race with a massive prize on the line. But behind the excitement sits a deeper story filled with mystery, danger, and the signature supernatural elements that make JoJo so distinctive.

After finishing Steel Ball Run, Araki continued expanding the JoJo world in Ultra Jump magazine, completing the eighth arc and starting the ninth in 2023. With every new part, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure evolves again, drawing in both longtime fans and first-time readers with its mix of daring storytelling, striking visuals, and unshakable creativity.
