The celebrated manga series "Black Clover" (also known in its original Japanese language as Black Clover) is set to make a comeback in just a month's time. The upcoming summer edition of Jump GIGA will feature three brand-new chapters of the fantasy saga, all penned by the talented manga artist Yuki Tabata. This highly anticipated issue will be released on the 12th of August. But that's not all, it will also include 17 exclusive illustrations created by various renowned manga artists to celebrate the 10th anniversary of "Black Clover". Among these eminent contributors are Eiichiro Oda (creator of "One Piece"), Masashi Kishimoto (behind "Naruto"), Tite Kubo (known for "Bleach"), Kohei Horikoshi (creator of "My Hero Academia"), Koyoharu Gotoge (creator of "Demon Slayer") and Gege Akutami (the mind behind "Jujutsu Kaisen").
First seen in the Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2015, "Black Clover" ran until August 2023. Following this, the series transitioned to the quarterly publication, Shonen Jump GIGA (also referred to simply as Jump GIGA).
The "Black Clover" franchise is not just confined to manga, but also boasts an anime series, spin-off manga, light novels, and so much more.
The "Black Clover" anime series encompasses a whopping 170 episodes and includes a feature film with an original storyline titled "Black Clover: The Magic Emperor’s Sword". The acclaimed Studio Pierrot was the creative force behind these projects. Excitingly, news has recently surfaced that the studio is currently preparing a new season of the series.
At the heart of "Black Clover" is Asta, an ordinary young man with extraordinary dreams of becoming the kingdom's greatest mage. Despite being devoid of magical abilities, Asta never lets such minor setbacks deter him. His grit and determination are rewarded when he stumbles upon the incredibly rare "Five-Leaf Clover Grimoire", which bestows upon him the power of...anti-magic!
