Asta Returns: Three New Chapters of Fantasy Manga 'Black Clover' Released

Recent chapters of the manga Black Clover have been released in the summer edition of Jump GIGA magazine and on the MANGA Plus service here. In total, chapters 381 to 383 were published, spanning 59 pages.

In this latest issue of Jump GIGA, the manga by Yuki Tabata is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Alongside the chapters, the issue is expected to include special illustrations created by various Mangakas to commemorate the anniversary of "Black Clover". Amongst the artists who have contributed their works are Eiichiro Oda (One Piece), Masashi Kishimoto (Naruto), Tite Kubo (Bleach), Kohei Horikoshi (My Hero Academia), Koyoharu Gotouge (Demon Slayer), and Gege Akutami (Jujutsu Kaisen). Speaking of One Piece, fans might be interested in these stylish One Piece desk mats.

"Black Clover" was originally serialized in the Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2015 to August 2023. Following this, the series transitioned to the quarterly magazine Shonen Jump GIGA (or simply Jump GIGA). Additionally, the manga continues to be released on the MANGA Plus service.

The franchise encompasses an anime series, a spin-off manga, novels, and more. The fantasy story has been adapted into a long-running anime series. An anime movie with an original plot, "Black Clover: The Sword of the Magic King," was also produced. Both projects were developed by the renowned Studio Pierrot. Last month, it was revealed that the studio is producing a new season of the series.

At the heart of the story is Asta, a young lad who dreams of becoming the greatest mage in the kingdom. However, he is unable to use magic. But when have such trivialities ever stopped a Shonen hero? Asta comes into the possession of the incredibly rare "Five-Leaf Clover Grimoire," which bestows upon him the power of... anti-magic!
