Anime series 'No Matter What, I’ll Fall for You' returns in 2026

In January, the anime Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You (Dōse, Koishite Shimaunda) made its debut. The first season wrapped up in March, but almost immediately the announcement came that the story would continue. This August, it was confirmed that the second season is set to premiere in 2026, as reported by Anime News Network.

The series is based on the romantic manga by Haruka Mitsui. The manga began serialization in Japan’s well‑known shojo magazine Nakayoshi from publisher Kodansha back in November 2020. As of now, the story has been collected into 12 volumes, steadily building a loyal readership who are drawn to its blend of heartfelt emotions and relatable teenage romance.

The anime adaptation is handled by the studio Typhoon Graphics, known for producing vibrant and expressive animation style that suits the romantic drama genre. Season one included 12 episodes, each following the tangled relationships, bittersweet moments, and youthful energy that made the manga popular. The confirmation of a second season means fans have more to look forward to, and some may even enjoy collecting themed items like anime mouse pads featuring their favorite series while waiting for new episodes.
