Manga 'The Mikadono Sisters Turn Out Surprisingly Simple' Gets Reprint as P.A. Works Rolls Out Anime Adaptation

As the anime Mikadono San Shimai wa Angai, Choroi (The Three Mikadono Sisters Are Surprisingly Easy) continues airing, the original manga has once again updated its circulation numbers. The series has now reached 1.8 million copies in circulation, a figure that includes the initial print run of volume 16, scheduled for release on September 18.

The anime adaptation premiered on July 10 and is being produced by P.A. Works, the renowned studio behind hits like *Shirobako*, *The Aquatope on White Sand*, and *Fairy Gone*.

The manga has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday since December 2021, created by Aya Hirakawa. With a steadily growing fanbase and consistent print runs, it has quickly become a recognizable name among modern rom-com and slice‑of‑life readers.
