All nominees for the 53rd annual Saturn Awards have been announced, celebrating the best in science fiction, fantasy, and horror on both the big and small screens. Since their inception in the 1970s, these awards have been presented by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films, with winners chosen through member voting.
This year, the category for Best Animated International Film is dominated by Japanese anime. The contenders are Attack on Titan: The Final Chapter - The Last Attack, Chainsaw Man: Movie - Reze Arc, Your Color, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Infinity Castle. The first two titles hail from the acclaimed studio MAPPA, Your Color was created by Science SARU, and Demon Slayer comes from the fan-favorite studio ufotable.
The winners will be revealed during the award ceremony held in California on March 8, where fans and industry professionals alike will be watching to see which titles take home the honors.
